We help our members with marketing and social media, as well as providing information on a variety of subjects that benefit businesses and their employees.
We field hundreds of phone calls and emails each week about our local businesses and events.
We partner with other businesses and non-profits to provide training and marketing opportunities.
We accept positive and negative feedback from shoppers. We inform the business owners of any feedback we receive and we work together to maximize customer relations.
We have helped members with scam awareness and prevention.

The Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Garnett announce the appointment of Kris Hix as the new Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and City Administrative Assistant.
Ms. Hix is a longtime resident of Anderson County who has a special interest and passion in making a difference in the lives of people in the community. She hails from a healthcare background where time on task, efficiency, quick thinking and working as a team are essential to success. She brings an enthusiasm and work ethic that will make her an asset to the business organization, as well as the City. She enjoys spending time with her three sons, her community, and is looking forward to helping Garnett GROW!
